HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A derailed train reportedly caused closures on a road in Hillsborough County Sunday evening.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the empty cargo train was partially derailed at the 50th Street and Causeway Boulevard in Palm River-Clair Mel.
Deputies expect the derailment to close the area for approximately the next five hours. HCSO asked drivers to seek an alternate route and avoid the area while crews work to clear the scene…
