Oregon farms providing grass seed for the World Cup

TANGENT, Ore. – Oregon grass seed farmers are playing a key role in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which kicks off Thursday.

Over the next five weeks, 48 nations will compete across the United States, Canada and Mexico. While billions around the world watch the action on the field, the Willamette Valley is helping make it happen.
