Kevin Griffin’s salary as Oregon State’s athletic director is worth less than half of Scott Barnes’ existing deal.
Griffin and OSU agreed to a five-year contract that will pay him a $500,000 salary, with 2.5% increases annually, according to the memorandum of understanding provided to The Oregonian/OregonLive in response to a public records request.
The total value of Griffin’s contract is $1,630,989 and the MOU does not include any references to supplemental retirement payments, which Barnes received approximately $248,000 of this year and is due over $280,000 next year…
