Corvallis Woman Arrested After Allegedly Assaulting Police Officer During Arrest

CORVALLIS, Ore. — A 40-year-old Corvallis woman was arrested Thursday morning after allegedly brandishing a kitchen knife and injuring a police officer while officers attempted to take her into custody following reports of a disturbance.

According to the Corvallis Police Department, officers responded at approximately 9:29 a.m. on June 25 to the 600 block of Northwest Monroe Avenue after receiving multiple reports of a woman damaging property and causing a disturbance.
