WOODBURN, Ore. (KATU) — Woodburn police are investigating a fatal crash involving a bicyclist and a motor vehicle.
On Friday, July 24, at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers responded to a crash on the Interstate 5 overpass at Newberg Highway.
“The initial investigation indicates that a vehicle driven by Jose Quevedo-Vazquez, 18, of Salem, was traveling westbound and entered the right lane to access southbound Interstate 5,” Woodburn police said. “At the same time, Travis Martin, 29, of Aurora, was traveling westbound on a bicycle and entered the roadway from the sidewalk, crossing in front of the vehicle.”…
