LANE COUNTY, Ore. – Lane Regional Air Protection Agency issued an air quality advisory Tuesday for Lane County due to smoke from wildfires in Oregon and Washington.
The advisory covers the Eugene and Springfield area, Cottage Grove, Oakridge, Westfir and Blue River. According to LRAPA, intermittent smoke is expected in western Lane County, including Florence and the coast.
LRAPA expects the air quality advisory to last through Thursday afternoon. A weather change is expected Friday that may bring cleaner air to Lane County, though the timing remains uncertain…
