PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a drowning after a man’s body was found at Scotts Mills Falls Wednesday morning.
Just before 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to a report of a possible drowning at Scotts Mills County Park. At the scene, however, deputies did not find the victim.
Early Wednesday morning, with help from the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team, crews searched Butte Creek at Scotts Mills Falls, where they found the body of a 20-year-old man.
