POLK COUNTY, Ore. (KPTV) – A 28-year-old man will spend more than eight years behind bars in connection with a rape investigation, according to the Polk County District Attorney’s Office.
Jacob Allen Tunget pleaded no contest to first-degree rape and was sentenced to 100 months in prison. He will also serve 140 months of post-prison supervision and register as a sex offender.
The district attorney’s office said the incident happened in 2024 behind the Safeway supermarket in Dallas. Tunget was arrested after DNA samples obtained from the victim came back as a positive match to his DNA…
