After ousting executive director, Oregon teachers union selects new interim leader

Oregon’s largest teachers union has tapped the longtime former head of the Illinois teachers union to serve as its interim executive director, a spokesman for the statewide union said Thursday.

Audrey Soglin began her role at the Oregon Education Association on Sept. 1 and will remain at the helm until next April.
