Burgerville is coming to Wilsonville

Out with the old and in with the new — the fast food chain Burgerville is moving into the building where Burger King used to be.

According to a Jan. 23 press release from the company, Burgerville signed a lease at 8699 SW Robert Burns Drive, where Burger King used to be located before closing last year. The new location is expected to open in late spring or early summer, and is the first restaurant Burgerville has opened in eight years.

“We are excited to bring Burgerville’s delicious food made with locally sourced ingredients to more Pacific Northwest communities,” CEO Ed Casey stated in the release. “Wilsonville is a great place to expand, with its combination of a strong local community and a perfect place to stop off the freeway.”

Headquartered in Vancouver, Washington, Burgerville was established in 1961 and currently has 39 locations. Over the next 18 months, Burgerville expects to open several other restaurants, with the potential for new locations in Salem, Bend and Washington.
