Video released of federal agents arresting 2 at Marion County courthouse

SALEM Ore. (KPTV) – Federal agents arrested two people at the Marion County courthouse on March 26, including a 39-year-old man taken into custody on a federal warrant, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said agents with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) contacted courthouse staff shortly after 8 a.m. and presented a federal warrant for Daniel Lopez-Mojica, who was scheduled to appear that day on a felony charge. Deputies verified the warrant and later took Lopez-Mojica into custody without incident, turning him over to federal agents.

DHS agents also arrested a second person on a warrant in a public area outside a courtroom. That person reportedly resisted arrest, prompting a physical struggle before federal agents restrained him, officials said…
