First Alert: Cascade snow brings travel impacts

It will stay damp through midmorning today, with light rain still adding up in spots. Since midnight, totals range from just a few hundredths on the coast to nearly three-quarters of an inch in Salem.

Yesterday brought the heaviest rain to the coast, where Astoria picked up 1.83 inches, while much of the valley and southwest Washington saw lighter amounts between 0.21 and 0.40 inches.
