George Fox softball splits doubleheader with Boxers, Bearcats up next

The George Fox softball team is headed into the final series of the 2026 campaign with an eye on a strong showing at the upcoming Northwest Conference tournament and a longshot chance at a berth on the Division 3 national stage.

The Bruins are in fourth place in the eight-team Northwest Conference with a 12-12 record (18-18 overall) and are chasing Pacific Lutheran, which has amassed a 20-4 record (28-8 overall).

George Fox will complete the regular season with a pair of doubleheaders versus Willamette at home April 25-26. The conference tournament begins May 1; the site and pairings have yet to be determined. The winner will earn an automatic berth to the national tournament.
