PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Corvallis woman is facing assault charges after court documents say she assaulted a man with driftwood over a glass float found on a Lincoln City beach.
According to a probable cause affidavit, officers responded to the beach near the Siletz Bay Lodge after receiving two calls about the incident.
When officers arrived, the victim reported that he had been assaulted by a woman, identified as Michelle Dorcas Evans, who had hit him several times with a large piece of driftwood.
