SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Downtown Salt Lake City came alive on Sunday, as thousands marched loud and proud in Utah’s annual Pride Parade.
Local businesses, political groups, performers, clubs and allies joined in solidarity and celebration of LGBTQIA+ empowerment. Countless pride flags, decorated floats and energetic music filled the streets in the state’s most vibrant and visible pride celebration, per the event’s press release.
The march began at 100 S. and Temple Square and wound through the city to 300 S. and 400 East. ABC4.com spoke with several attendees along the way to learn which messages resonated with them as Pride Elevated concludes.
