SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A man was sentenced to more than 12 years in prison after he supplied the fentanyl that resulted in a woman’s death.
Jerod Arthur Young, 50, of Fort Duchesne, pleaded guilty to distributing fentanyl on March 26. In addition to his prison sentence, Young was ordered to serve three years of supervised release.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Utah, said in a press release that Young sold the fentanyl to the woman for profit on Nov. 15, 2023.
