SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Representatives of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints welcomed leaders from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to Salt Lake City.
The goal of the meeting between the groups was to discuss ongoing efforts to support vulnerable migrants in various parts of Latin America.
According to the church, IOM Director General Amy Pope said that the church’s support “helps migrants find jobs and build small businesses through skills training and startup funding.”…
