TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (KUTV) — Five people were hospitalized following a crash involving multiple vehicles on Redwood Road in Taylorsville.
Sgt. Keller with the Taylorsville Police Department said the crash happened just after 10 p.m. on Sunday.
A Ram pickup truck was reportedly driving south on Redwood Road at a high rate of speed when it went off the roadway near the intersection with 4700 South. The truck struck an Xfinity pole before continuing forward and colliding with an SUV stopped at the light.

The Xfinity pole snapped in two from the crash, sending debris into the air, according to Sgt. Keller. The debris crashed into a traffic signal at the intersection before striking another car in the turn lane.
