17-year-old girl accused of luring two men into violent robberies-turned-shootings

SAN ANTONIO – A 17-year-old girl is accused of using social media to lure two men to the same Bexar County apartment complex early May 25, 2026, where investigators say a masked gunman robbed both victims and shot one of them four times.

Detective Cpl. Kabir Bhakta submitted an affidavit alleging Alyssa Victoria Canul, born Sept. 10, 2008, participated in an aggravated robbery in Bexar County, Texas. The investigation centered on two robberies reported at an apartment complex on Villa Drive.

In both incidents, male victims told investigators they were contacted through social media by Canul and persuaded to meet her at the complex. Each victim reported that after arriving, a masked Hispanic male armed with a black Glock handgun with an extended magazine confronted and robbed them.
