Police are warning Hollywood Park residents to avoid contact with wild animals after a fox that attacked a young boy tested positive for rabies.
Hollywood Park authorities responded Wednesday after the fox attacked the child while he was playing in his yard, Police Chief Shad Prichard said in a public safety notice. Officers killed the fox at the scene and sent it to a laboratory for testing.
