Drivers traveling through downtown San Antonio should expect delays on Thursday, June 4. An 18-wheeler crashed, sparking a hazmat spill on I-35, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
A closure is in effect following the crash, which happened around 4:38 a.m., according to the traffic monitoring site SigAlert. The connector ramp from I-35 South’s upper level to the I-10 Lower Level at US-87 is blocked. Residents are urged to exit early at San Pedro to Culebra Road. From there, they can use that entrance ramp to rejoin I-10’s westbound lanes.
