SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Work continues on the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, and the Texas Department of Transportation is announcing the following closures through the weekend.
Bridge construction will be taking place, weather permitting, and this is what you need to watch for:
- Eastbound and westbound Loop 1604 frontage roads at the interchange
- Eastbound I-10 mainlanes at the interchange
- Westbound I-10 mainlanes left lane at the interchange
These weekend closures are expected to occur from 1 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2026, until 5 a.m. Monday, June 8, 2026, weather permitting. All flyovers at the Loop 1604 and I-10 interchange will remain open. Please follow detour signage.
