When Dallas-based restaurant chain Bellagreen announced plans to join San Antonio’s dining landscape in late 2024, it did so with promises of providing a health-focused, fast-casual bistro to a rapidly growing Pearl-adjacent business district.
Then the sky fell. Well, maybe not the sky, but certainly a significant exterior chunk of the Jefferson Bank tower serving as the restaurant’s home.
Bellagreen moved into a street-level unit of the tower in November 2024, a few months after what was reported as a “faulty cast stone” fell from the exterior.
