A flash flood warning has been issued for much of Bexar County, including a large part of the San Antonio metro area, the National Weather Service announced early Monday morning. The warning will stay in effect through 10:45 a.m. Monday.
Locations in the flash flood warning include: downtown San Antonio, Alamo Heights, Castle Hills, Hollywood Park, Leon Valley, Helotes, Live Oak, Shertz, and China Grove. The South Side is also included in the flash flood warning.
According to the National Weather Service, this additional rainfall could bring “life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.”…
