Thousands of CPS Energy customers across San Antonio were left without power early Monday after a cold front hit the the area, bringing strong storms and severe weather.
A CPS Energy outage map shows 9,789 customers are currently without power due to 76 active outages as of 7:10 a.m. on Monday, June 15. CPS Energy wrote on X around 6:00 a.m. that the weather-related outages were only impacting about 126 customers. That number quickly spiked as storms entered San Antonio.
“Our crews are working to restore power; however, flooded roads and hazardous conditions may limit their access and delay our restoration efforts. Crew safety remains our top priority as they respond to weather-related outages across the service area,” CPS Energy wrote…
