These Texas-Style Kolaches Have Earned A Cult Following At San Antonio’s Most Popular Farmers Market

Every Saturday and Sunday morning, thousands of people visit the farmers market at San Antonio’s historic Pearl District, where they shop from more than 60 vendors offering farm-fresh produce, agua fresca, local art, and much more.

There’s one tent, however, that attracts an especially impressive line of people for its baked goods. Dough Baby sells large cinnamon rolls and savory Texas-style kolaches typically filled with meat in experimental combinations inspired by muffalettas, Cubanos, or jalapeño poppers with bacon.
