San Antonio mother and surgical technician Ana Rennie once helped her best friend escape an abusive relationship. She never imagined she would one day become a victim of domestic violence herself.
Authorities believe the 55-year-old was shot to death by her husband, 58-year-old Robert Rennie, before he turned the gun on himself. Her daughter discovered them dead July 3 when she walked into their home in the 15000 block of Escalante Pass.
