SAN ANTONIO – A police officer has been indefinitely suspended without pay after an internal affairs investigation found he used profanity and unnecessary force against a handcuffed suspect during a December 2025 arrest on the city’s West Side.
The report says that at about 10 p.m. on Dec. 20, 2025, Trevino was dispatched to an Inn Town Suites at 7490 Culebra Road for an intoxicated male. Before Trevino arrived, a cover officer apprehended the man after a brief foot pursuit, and Trevino was rerouted to the arrest scene at 7230 Culebra Road.
During a search, the suspect began using profanity and resisting, the report states. Body-worn camera footage captured Trevino telling the suspect, “Shut the f**k up.”…
