SAN ANTONIO – A truck carrying up to 40,000 pounds of donated food is scheduled to arrive in San Antonio on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, as part of a nationwide effort tied to the country’s 250th anniversary.
America250, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the San Antonio Food Bank are set to welcome a JustServe/America250-branded truck at the San Antonio Food Bank Distribution Center, 5200 Historic Old Hwy 90 W. The truck is expected to arrive between 8 and 8:30 a.m.
More than 150 volunteers are expected to arrive at 8:45 a.m. for a coordinated service project with the food bank. Organizers said there will be a photo opportunity in front of the truck ahead of the service work…
