SAN ANTONIO – Following recent criminal activity in the Champions Run neighborhood and a recent shooting in Stone Oak, City Council District 9 Councilwoman Misty Spears is calling for an in-depth public safety review of District 9.
In a press release issued July 27, 2026, Spears said, “The next crime scene is always somebody else’s neighborhood – until it isn’t. That’s why we never stop working to stay ahead of crime.”
