The San Antonio Police Department is investigating a robbery that took place on Saturday, August 8 after a teen drew a gun during a Facebook Marketplace meetup.
The SAPD said in a preliminary report that they responded to a call for the robbery at about 6:11 p.m. on Saturday at the 7800 block of Old Tezel Road near the Far Westside of San Antonio. When officials arrived at the scene, a 19-year-old man told police that he was selling merchandise to someone he met on Facebook Marketplace. The two people were said to meet up a the location, according to the report.
“Upon the complainants arrival, the suspect drew a firearm and began to threaten and demand the property from the complainant,” the SAPD said in the report. “The complainant surrendered the property and the suspect fled with the items as well as the money.” No arrests have been made since the alleged robbery occurred, the SAPD said…
