The mother of a 2-year-old boy who died after being found unresponsive in a community pool says she opposes criminal charges in connection with his death.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said it had completed its investigation and submitted the case to the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office, News 4 San Antonio and KSAT reported.

The district attorney’s office will now review the case and determine what charges, if any, are appropriate. No charges had been filed as of Aug. 28, according to the outlets…
