Members, representatives and supporters from more than 50 San Antonio nonprofit organizations pushed back at City Hall Wednesday to oppose a proposed $5.1 million reduction in city funding that advocates say could affect thousands of residents who rely on their services.
The proposed cut to the city’s Consolidated Funding Pool for fiscal year 2028 would affect 48 programs serving more than 9,300 residents across all 10 City Council districts.
