WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — A San Antonio man is arrested in a Wichita County undercover online sting after a DPS special agent alters a photo of himself to resemble a 14-year-old girl.

Terrell Carter is jailed on a $150,000 bond for online solicitation of a minor for sexual conduct.
The agent initiated the investigation in August 2023 and created the undercover persona of a 14-year-old girl on the “Whisper” social media app. He created a photograph of himself digitally altered to make him appear to be a young female.
According to the agent, he engaged in conversation for several days with a respondent later identified as Carter. He said Carter asked how old “she” was and he said 14. The agent said Carter told him that he was 34 and lived in San Antonio and requested a photograph.
The agent sent his altered photo and said Carter complimented “her” eyes, to which the agent replied that no one had ever given that compliment. He said Carter asked if “she” was a virgin and also asked for a “naughty” photo of “herself.”
