Massive San Antonio food court delayed yet again while inching closer to opening

San Antonio will have to wait a little bit longer for Mexico Ceaty to make its debut at the Shops at Rivercenter after the ringleader of the project provided an update on the long-awaited culinary project.

On Thursday, April 2, Chef Jason Dady posted an Instagram reel on his personal account addressing the progress of Mexico Ceaty. The chef, also behind concepts like Tre Trattoria and Roca & Martillo at The Rock, said that the food court overhaul is nearing completion, but did not meet the projected April 1 timeline for opening.

“We’re pushing as hard as we can. We were hoping for April 1, that didn’t happen. We’re hoping for April 6, that’s not gonna happen. But we’re really close,” Dady said in the video…
