Dog shot amid ‘defensive discharge’ during walk in San Antonio, police say

SAN ANTONIO — A dog was shot out due to a “defensive discharge” Saturday evening while a man was going on a walk, SAPD says.

Police were called to the 100 block of Torreon around 6:09 p.m. for a shooting in progress.

Once there, they found out that a rottweiler charged at a man while he was walking down the street, causing a “defensive discharge” by the man, hitting the dog once, according to police…
