Eleven dogs rescued from west-side home filled with urine and feces, fosters needed

SAN ANTONIO – Eleven dogs are now in the care of San Antonio Animal Care Services after being found living in severe, unsanitary conditions at a home on the city’s west side.

The dogs were removed around noon from a property near Vera Cruz and Southwest 19th Street, where crews found urine and feces throughout the home. The animals are currently receiving veterinary care.
