Residents displaced, one treated for smoke inhalation after apartment complex fire

SAN ANTONIO – A large fire at a two-story apartment building early Saturday morning has displaced multiple residents and caused extensive damage to the complex.

The fire started around 7:30 a.m., with fire crews arriving to find heavy flames spreading across both the first and second floors of the building. Due to the intensity of the fire, additional resources were requested, and crews were forced to shift to a defensive strategy, battling the fire from outside.

At least half of the building is expected to be a total loss. All residents of the affected building have been displaced as a result of the fire…
