Lover’s quarrel preceded West Side shooting, police say

SAN ANTONIO – An alleged lover’s quarrel on the city’s West Side results in a man being grazed by gunfire and the suspect still at large.

The incident occurred early Sunday around 12:46 a.m. at the 2200 block of W. Poplar Street, where police said a suspect drove past the victim’s home and opened fire following a weeklong dispute involving a woman. According to SAPD, the male victim was struck by at least one bullet but suffered only a graze wound.

EMS treated the victim at the scene before releasing him. No other injuries were reported…
