CHULA VISTA, Calif. — A Chula Vista detective testified Tuesday about disturbing evidence found on Larry Millete’s computer in the weeks before his wife Maya disappeared, including spells that became increasingly violent and detailed tracking of her movements.
Detective Lorenzo Ruiz took the stand for a second day, on day six of Millete’s murder trial at the South Bay courthouse, describing what investigators discovered on Larry’s MacBook. Prosecutors painted a picture of escalating control and threatening behavior in the months leading up to Maya’s January 2021 disappearance.
