Two sisters arrested for murder of their mother in San Diego

SAN DIEGO — Two middle-aged sisters were arrested Thursday on suspicion of murdering their mother and severely neglecting their father — both octogenarians unable to care for themselves — in the couple’s University City apartment.

Ingrid Wu, 52, and her 53-year-old sibling, Rebecca, were caretakers of their parents at the time of 81-year-old Kun-Ying Yang’s death three months ago, according to the San Diego Police Department.
