Navy unveils new training facility to repair ships at sea

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — It’s not every day the highest-ranking naval officer pays a visit to Naval Station San Diego, with some sailors joking nervously that it’s like meeting the Pope.

Admiral Daryl Caudle was on hand to inspect one of three new SIMA facilities being placed into service as the US Navy stays flexible as wartime needs change.
