SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Thousands of pounds of debris were cleared from a homeless encampment along a southern San Diego County freeway.
Caltrans said Thursday that an encampment was cleared along Interstate 805 near the Main Street ramp in Chula Vista.
Crews removed 15 cubic yards of debris from the area, which filled up six full-sized pickup truck beds and is equivalent to over 3,000 pounds.
