SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — One person is dead after a crash involving four cars on Sunday shut down a stretch of the southbound Interstate 15 near Miramar overnight.
California Highway Patrol confirmed Monday that a 32-year-old man died after his Ford Escape hit the right shoulder wall of the highway and caught on fire.

Officers said at approximately 10:27 p.m. Sunday, an Audi RS7, driven by a 21-year-old, collided with the Ford Escape, pushing the car into the shoulder wall.
