SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Two witnesses with the FBI, and a forensic specialist, testified on Tuesday about the evidence collected during an Oct. 19, 2021, search warrant at the Millete house in Chula Vista. That was the same day Larry Millete was arrested on suspicion of his wife Maya’s murder.
A few FBI employees testified that they were involved in testing two glass vials found inside the Millete home during that October search warrant. The tests found coniine inside one of the vials. Coniine is highly toxic and found in the poison hemlock plant.
In March of 2020, Larry had searched online several times for information related to self-harm and poison hemlock.
