Home Depot, the national home improvement retailer, is getting ready to open a new location in San Diego’s Mission Valley neighborhood at 1545 Camino del Rio South.
The new store is set to move into the former home of the Scottish Rite Center, according to construction at the site. The development has been in the works for several years, following the approval of the Mission Valley Community Plan Update in 2019. Representatives from Home Depot tell WhatNow San Diego that the company expects to open the Mission Valley location in Summer 2026 and that customers can expect a full-service home improvement store with a garden center and expanded parking.
Construction is now well underway at the site, which sits along Camino del Rio South just east of Texas Street. The project includes a roughly 125,000-square-foot retail store and garden center, along with a 155,000-square-foot parking structure.
