FALLBROOK, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — A vehicle fire on Interstate 15 in northern San Diego County spread to nearly 10 acres of vegetation and led to temporary evacuations Thursday afternoon. The burned hillside can be seen from the freeway.
The Mission 2 Fire broke out after 1 p.m. on I-15 north near Mission Road in Fallbrook when a vehicle fire spread to brush on a hillside and grew to 9.9 acres.
