San Diego band Slightly Stoopid plays hometown stadium concert for over 25000 fans

San Diego band Slightly Stoopid hosted their inaugural Field of Dreamz Festival at Petco Park on Saturday, June 13. The hometown event spanned two stages and was created and curated by the band members themselves. The performance marked a collaborative partnership with the San Diego Padres, a baseball team the musicians grew up watching.

The sold-out festival drew a crowd of more than 25,000 attendees to the stadium. The lineup featured a variety of artists across multiple genres, including Sublime, Stephen Marley, The Elovaters, Pepper, DENM, Z-Trip, Band of Gringos, and Boostive.

During the headlining set, Slightly Stoopid brought several guest artists onto the stage. Stephen Marley joined the band for a performance of Bob Marley’s “Rainbow Country,” while Stick Figure and Pepper’s Kaleo Wassman appeared for the song “Got Me On The Run.” Reggae artist Don Carlos performed on “Wiseman,” and Boostive vocalist Divana Jasso contributed to “Mona June.”

The concert served as the official launch for the group’s cross-country Road Trippin Summer Tour. The upcoming schedule includes stops in Virginia, Ohio, Washington, Colorado, and Florida, alongside appearances at Point Break Festival, Sublime Festival, Summer Greens, and Island Rhodes Festival. The tour features an August 8 return to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, marking the band’s 21st performance at the venue…
