SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A San Diego man pleaded guilty in federal court last week to holding migrants hostage in Mexico while demanding thousands of dollars in ransom payment from their families, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.
Isaac Jimenez, a U.S. citizen and San Diego resident, admitted to aiding in smuggling people from Mexico to the U.S. illegally for money.
