One of Southern California’s most respected independent breweries is preparing to make its San Diego debut with an ambitious new concept that blends craft beer, cocktails and elevated bar food into a neighborhood gathering place in the heart of East Village. Temecula-based Relentless Brewing & Spirits has confirmed that it will transform the former WestBrew restaurant and tasting room into Feral Libations, a new concept the company describes as “our evolution.”
Rather than simply opening another brewery taproom, husband-and-wife owners James and Doris Hess envision Feral Libations as a destination where guests can discover something different with every visit.
“We wanted to create a place that celebrates craft in every form – exceptional beer, thoughtful cocktails, approachable food, and genuine hospitality,” the owners told SanDiegoVille. “The goal is to build a neighborhood gathering place where people can discover something new every time they visit, whether that’s an independent brewery they’ve never heard of, a beautifully balanced cocktail, or a memorable meal.”…
